A man was led to safety from his flat following a chip pan blaze.
Two fire engines were sent to the home in Bybrook Road, Kennington, Ashford last night at 11pm after the pan caught alight.
Firefighters entered the property and rescued a man from inside.
An ambulance was also called, and he was given oxygen therapy at the scene.
