Cash machine raid suspects bailed

FOUR men have appeared in court charged with conspiracy to burgle following a series of cash machine raids across the county.

George Smith, 37, of Ashford Road, High Halden, Ashford, 26-year-old Dominic Edwards of Caley Road, Tunbridge Wells, Alan Johnson, 42, of Cleeve Prior, Evesham, Worcestershire, and 48-year-old Stephen Boyd, of Coombe Road, Tilehurst, Reading, appeared before magistrates in Oxford on Thursday.

All four men were granted conditional bail and are due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Friday, July 22.

The conditions of bail on all four men included curfews between 10pm and 7am daily, living at a specified address and reporting daily between Monday and Friday to a local police station.
