Police have admitted they have no clear CCTV images of the moment a woman was pushed onto the railway tracks at a Kent station.

Lin Buchanan, 58, from Horton Kirby, near Swanley, narrowly missed live rails carrying 750 volts of electricity when she was shoved off the platform at Farningham Road station at about 7am Wednesday.

She is understood to have been involved in an argument with two men over smoking at the station.

But the British Transport Police, who are investigating the incident, have drawn a blank from CCTV footage.

A spokesman said the station's cameras had not picked up the incident and there were no facial images of the men involved.

They are now studying footage taken on previous days from 13 stations on the line from London Victoria.
