Just one house and two apartments are still available under the First Time Buyers Initiative at Birling Grange, the Taylor Wimpey development near West Malling.

The scheme lets qualifying purchasers secure selected properties with a mortgage from only 50 per cent of the full price. It means the three-bedroom Gunnersby semi-detached house, price £257,995, is available with a mortgage for as little as £122,498.

Marie-Claire Travis, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, said: "With just three properties remaining under this initiative, qualifying purchasers cannot afford to waste time if they want to avoid missing out."

Ideal for couples or young families, the Gunnersby has a spacious lounge/dining room and semi open plan kitchen opening through french doors to the private rear garden, with a handy guest cloakroom completing the ground floor.

Upstairs, the light and airy master bedroom has en suite facilities while the landing also leads to two further bedrooms and a main bathroom. There is an allocated parking space outside.

Birling Grange is being developed on the site of a former manor house and hospital. In time, the development will have a good selection of local amenities, including a community centre, a convenience store, a school and a health centre.

For more details visit the sales centre, off London Road, West Malling, open seven days, 10.30am to 5.30pm, or call 0845 026 3791.
