The Poggiali is a fine Runner

GILERA has launched a racy, limited edition Runner 50 “Poggiali”. The new Runner is dedicated to the Gilera rider, Manual Poggiali, who is the champion of the MotoGP 125cc class.

The new model is available for three months only and according to Gilera, it is easy to ride which makes it perfect for experienced first time riders alike.

It comes in sporty red with the Gilera rings in black and fluorescent orange on its shield and sides.

The bike, which also bears Poggiali’s renowned number 54 on the side, takes its inspiration from the bike that Poggiali uses.

The Runner Poggiali has a quick, responsive braking system and a 50cc engine for speedy acceleration and smooth power delivery. Twelve-inch wheels and tubeless racing tyres complete the look.

Runner 50 Poggiali riders in the 16-24 age group can get £200 off the cost of Third Party Fire and Theft Insurance from now to June 30 making it a cost effective way to travel.

The model is available through the Gilera sales network, priced £1,949.
