Drug suspect chased by police helicopter from Sevenoaks to Mount Ephraim in Tunbridge Wells

A police helicopter helped track down a biker wanted for drug offences.

The helicopter assisted police to catch a man in Tunbridge Wells after he first failed to stop for officers in Sevenoaks.

The 21-year-old was caught just after 10pm last night (November 5) in Mount Ephraim in Tunbridge Wells and taken into custody.

He was arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and driving without insurance.

A police spokesman said: “The suspect had initially been seen in the Sevenoaks area on a motorcycle and after failing to stop for officers was pursued with the assistance of a police helicopter.”
